Binary options
Though presented as a legitimate investment, binary options are actually a scam. Binary option companies present clients with the false information that binary options are a quick and safe investment. Sounding very simple, binary options are based on a 'yes' or 'no' proposition: "Will an underlying asset be above a certain price at a certain time?" Traders place wagers as to whether that will or will not happen. If a customer believes the price of a commodity or currency will be above a certain price at a set time, he buys the binary option. If he believes it will be below that price, he sells the option.
In truth, binary options are prone to fraud and banned by regulators in many jurisdictions as a form of gambling.
Brokers who work for these firms are usually very aggressive and choose a certain target audience who will usually succumb to their pressures and eventually invest most of their funds. In most cases, they will likely never see their money again or any profits on their "investment".
Unlike gambling, there is no winning factor or “luck”. Unfortunately the house will always win.
